Review of book: I'm not sure when I first owned this wonderful book, but it had to have been in the early 1950s, when I was in high school. I loved it then, and took it to college with me, as it was one of my favorite possessions. It contains valuable and fun information on the history, theory, and structure of music. Somewhere along the way it disappeared. Maybe it was lost in a move, or maybe someone borrowed it and failed to return it, but when I saw it online I had to have it again. Every music lover should have a copy.
