Vintage Contraceptives Ortho Diaphragms in display case - Vintage Medical Curiosity Collectible
Made by Ortho - I have ONLY seen one of these in the museum of contraceptive. I am unsure on the age as I have seen two different time periods. I have also been told its possible the box is Bakelite. Seven plastic rings used for fitting diaphragms are housed in a turquoise plastic casket. All rings are present and they range in size from 60, 65, 70, 75, 80, 85, and 90. The doctor fits the correct size with the help of the variously sized fitting rings shown here. This is a display /test pieces and they serve only to determine the correct size - not as contraceptive. These should ONLY be utilized for medical or personal display and nothing more.
